“For the most part. Part mermaid. My mother was a sea witch and when I enter the water I can have a fin. The key word is can. I can pick weather or not to swim with the tail. I find it more amusing not to, though I use it if I intend to stay for long periods.” She reached out, but drew her hand back quickly. She took a deep breath and gently combed her fingers through his snow white hair and grinned. “How interesting.”
“Hn. That’s pretty neat.” Marshall smiles as she runs her hand through his hair, watching as the color of it coats her fingers lightly. He chuckles. “I get that a lot.”
“Because you are. I’ve never had such a honor as to meet a confection that could speak before. Tell me some things about you. Your favorite things to eat or drink, if you can, your living quarters, and anyone you hold close.” She wiped the powder off her fingers and tucked her own long black hair back.
